About Me

Pierson is a senior Retail Supply Chain consultant - an exceptional communicator, customer-focused and able to bridge the gap between commercial operational requirements and technical/functional software in Enterprise-level legacy, ERP and Decision Support solutions. He specialises in developing credible trusted advisor status with clients, helping to develop business solutions and associated KPI performance metrics. One of Pierson's prime strengths is a keen ability to communicate the business value of his area of specialisation – collaborative Demand Chain optimisation - to CxO decision makers through subject matter expertise gained over more than 20 years.

Focusing specifically on the Retail/CPG sector he possesses a keen ability to articulate S&OP, SIOP and CPFR Integrated Business Planning processes, together with fulfilment, distribution and logistics execution strategy. He helps companies to understand the impact of how transactional data can be transformed into Supply Chain analytical metrics to develop Decision Support information, Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI). An ability to facilitate business workshops and key stakeholder meetings draws out Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensures that the critical measures within an organisation can be vertically aligned from operations through to CxO-suite strategic goals and messages.

Pierson has worked with and managed Onsite/Offshore teams and has experience of adapting to the many cultural challenges arising from working with and consulting in countries across Europe and Asia. He is a keen advocate of leveraging the underlying Business Intelligence/Analytics information inherent within corporate Supply Chains to improve processes and uncover operational trends which may otherwise remain hidden.
