About Me

Shawn Shell is Vice President of Consulting for Hitachi Consulting.  Shawn has spent more than 25 years in the information technology field. For more than a decade, Shawn has concentrated on the development of various portal, collaboration, and custom enterprise solutions, across a diverse set of industries and business needs.  He is an expert on cloud-based application development, IoT, and collaboration solutions.  Shawn is also a Contributing Analyst for the Real Story Group and a co-author of Microsoft Content Management Server 2002: A Complete Guide, published by Addison-Wesley.  Prior to his work at Hitachi, Shawn founded Consejo, Inc, an information management consulting firm.  Shawn also held various management roles at Dell, Inc., was an adjunct professor at Rutgers University, and started his career at Warner-Lambert Company (now Pfizer).
