It's December and, as the Retail sector fully embraces its busiest (and hopefully most profitable...) time of the trading year, the uneasy balance of opportunity facing off with anxious financial operational concern once again moves to the fore - as we approach the end of another 12 months, we find ourselves proclaiming that 'it's been quite a year...'.  And of course, along with the purchasing of gifts and festive accouterments follows a party season in full swing, with bars, restaurants and cafés enjoying full bookings as people revel amid the season's social warmth.

But the Hospitality sector, particularly the Food-on-the-Go, Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) plus dining and entertaining brands, are not immune to the march of Digital Transformation.  This sector is being disrupted by new entrants in the form of novel order and delivery mechanisms which have the potential to erode Brand integrity without a solid Data-based understanding of a harmonised customer experience (CX).
